No School January 3-7

Dear Old Redford Academy Community,

Happy New Year! I trust that this letter finds you and your family well and safe as we continue
to navigate life during this pandemic. To that point, and in an effort to ensure public safety and the positive well-being of our staff and the families we serve, Old Redford Academy is
cancelling classes for the week of January 3rd-7th. Please be mindful of the following:

  • On Wednesday, January 5th, communication will be sent that details either our return to
in-person or virtual instruction for the week of January 10th and beyond.
  • During this time of closure, we encourage students to engage in scholarly activities and
work. Please have them visit the following websites:
  • During this time of closure, if your student is exhibiting any signs of the virus, we
encourage you to have them tested immediately and notify the school in the event of a
positive result. Likewise, if we return to in-person instruction, we are asking that you
speak with your student about the importance of being compliant with our mask mandate.
  • In the event that we have to return to virtual instruction, limited technology is available at
each building and will be distributed on a first come, first served bases. Please note that
if you previously failed to return your district owned technology you will not be eligible
    for this distribution.
If you have any questions regarding the closure, please feel free to contact your respective
building Principal via email.

Take care and be safe!
